But before we get into that, let's take a few minutes, check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. So with these Pacifica's, you know, people use 'em to do a lot of different things. They're pretty capable vehicles and you'll see people using 'em to pull their trailers around and if you plan on doing that, you're gonna need a way to illuminate all the lights on that trailer. Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica, and we're gonna be walking you through and showing you how to install The Curt 4-Pole wiring harness. Installing a 4-Pole wiring harness is gonna allow you to connect to a trailer to signal other motorists what your intentions are when you're pulling a trailer. This wiring harness is going to connect directly into the back of your factory taillights on your Pacifica, and it's gonna have a converter box on it that's designed to protect the vehicle from any back feed that might come from your trailer. So if you have a short or something on your trailer, it's not going to affect your vehicle's lights from functioning. A nice part about this kit is you're not gonna have to tap into any of your vehicle's wiring. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the curt four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. Now four-pole wiring is gonna be essential if you plan on towing a trailer and a lot of accessories these days will have lights on them that you're gonna get those lighting functions from your four-pole. And this just simply goes back into a module where those wires tie off and plug in directly to your taillights. So that way there's really no cutting or splicing that's required when plugging in. Now you are gonna have to run a power wire up to the front to get that 12 volt power supply but really that's not too terribly bad. It comes with all the butt connectors to be able to do that and it's minimal. more

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Hopkins 4-Pole Trailer Wiring on a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country. Having a hitch is great because you can hook up a lot of different accessories including trailers, and part of towing a trailer is making sure you have the proper light functions. That way when you have your headlights on, or your brake signal, or even your turn signal, you're gonna let the people behind you know what you're actually doing. And that's accomplished by installing a trailer wiring harness, such as this four flat. Now this is gonna be great to just plug into your trailer and it uses factory style connectors into your taillights so you'll be able to get all those functions pretty easy. more

This is what it's gonna look like when it's installed. The kit does not come with this four-pole bracket, however, you can pick one up here etrailer to give your wiring a more permanent mounting location. The wiring harness is designed to give your trailer the proper lighting functions so your legal and safe, brake signal, turn signals and your running lights. It's gonna come with a nice dust cap, so when you're not using it, it will keep any dirt and debris off the plug itself. more

Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Curt T-connector wiring harness here on the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. The only thing we're going to be able to see from this kit here is the actual trailer connector. Now there's a couple of different means of attaching this. We can purchase a series of brackets here through etrailer to permanently attach it to the hitch tube. However, we can just use the included dust cap to loop it around the safety chain loops which is going to be the most economical option. So if you're going to be towing a trailer with your Pacifica, you will need a trailer wiring harness. more

Hi there Chrysler owners. Today in your 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install CURT's four pole flat trailer connector vehicle wiring harness. You'll have a four pole connector that's outside the vehicle here at the back. We do offer mounting brackets here at etrailer.com. Our customer didn't opt for it, but many hitches do have weld plates on them that allows you to attach it directly to a bracket here. We just use a zip tie because that's what comes included with the kit and it'll work just fine. more

Today you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to walk you through the installation on the Curt Wiring Harness with four pole flat trailer connector, on our 2011 Chrysler Town and Country. Whether you're hauling a trailer or a cargo carrier that may handle some lighting functions, this wiring harness is going to allow your trailer and cargo carrier to receive those lighting functions from your vehicle.Our Curt Wiring Harness is going to have a converter box, and what that converter box is going to do, it's going to protect the factory wiring on your vehicle from any back feed from your trailer if there is a wiring issue. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, we're gonna be installing Tekonsha's T-One four-pole flat trailer connector vehicle wiring harness, part number 118712.This four-pole vehicle wiring harness is gonna provide you with all the necessary connections you'll need at your trailer. This is gonna give you your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps. So you'll be DOT-compliant in all states.At the back of our four-pole connector, you're gonna have a dust cap that'll keep out any dirt, debris, and moisture, and this'll ensure you have a long-lasting connection that'll be corrosion-free.In addition, you can use it to secure it to your safety chain loop and that'll hold it up out of the way when you're not using it.This wiring harness is custom-fit for your Pacifica. It's gonna plug directly inline with your driver and passenger side tail lamp assemblies. And it has its own module that's going to detect those signals and return them, here, to our four-pole connector, going back to your trailer.What's nice about this separate fuse-protecting circuit that our module has is that if there's any faults on our trailer, it won't cause any damage to the wiring on our vehicle. It'll just open the fuse to our module. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, we're gonna be installing Curtz' T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with four pole flat trailer connector. Part number C56331. This 4 pole flat trailer connector's gonna provide you with all of the necessary lighting. This includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamp and brake lamps. So you'll be DOT compliant in all states.This harness has it's own separate control module that's going to tap into your existing rear tail lamps to get the signals, and it'll provide those signals from the module to your connector. What's nice about this is that that module has its own fuse-protected circuit, so if there's any faults on your trailer such as a short, it'll only affect the circuit going to your module, and not anything on your vehicle.It also has an included dust cap. more

Speaker 1: Toady on our 2005 Chrysler Pacifica we'll be having a look at our best trailer wiring options. To my right we have the Curt T-Connector vehicle wiring harness, part number C55530 and to my left we have the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness, part number 118303. Now today we're focusing on wiring harnesses for vehicles that are not equipped with a factory seven way connector. If your vehicle does have a factory seven way and you need to purchase a replacement for it because it stopped working for some reason we have multiple different options available for you on our website.Now the first biggest difference that we found is in regards to power output. On our Curt wiring harness here on our turn signal and brake light circuits we have a total power output of three amps per side on the vehicle which is a sufficient amount of power to tow a trailer with LED lights, it's not an issue at all, and if we have two or three incandescent light bulbs for our turn signals and our brake lights that's not an issue there, we'll be able to power those just fine. Now for our taillight and running light circuit we have a total power output of six amps, we could basically have as many LEDs as we want in our trailer with six amps of power and we'll be able to run several incandescent lights without an issue.Now on our Tekonsha wiring harness here we have 2.1 amps of power output for our turn signals and brake light circuits per side so it's a little bit less here. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2008 Chrysler Pacifica, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt T connector vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector. Part number C55530. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. As you can see, it's designed to be hidden in our storage compartment in the back of our vehicle when it's not in use. When we're ready to use it, we simply grab it from the storage compartment here, drape down some of the wire, lay it atop the weather stripping seal of our rear hatch, making sure it's to the side of our latch. And we can close our hatch on up. more

Part number is: 118712. Now, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness is gonna be exactly what you need to have a 4-pole flat trailer connector on the back of your vehicle. Looks like we've got a dust plug there. This is gonna take care of your right turn and brake, left turn and brake, running lights, and the bare terminal there is gonna be for ground, dust terminal to cover that up. But this is gonna work out really well for cargo carriers or any other trailer that has a 4-flat connector.Now, powering the system is gonna be our module box. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Chrysler Town & Country we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-connector wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector. Part number C56331.This wiring harness is fairly unique in the regards that we have a nice module here that is nice and sealed from the elements with this silicone gel insert in here that prevents any moisture or contamination from getting inside causing corrosion or possible damage to the sensitive electronics inside.The reason this box is a great thing to have is because this will isolate your vehicle's expensive lighting circuit from your trailer. So if you have a short on your trailer you don't have to worry about any voltage being back-fed into your Town & Country causing potential damage.Here's what our wiring looks like installed. This four-pole flat wiring harness will give us the basic lighting functions that are required by law in order for us to safely and legally tow a trailer.This white wire here provides our necessary ground connection between our Town & Country and our trailer. This brown wire here is for our taillight and our running light circuit. And on this circuit we will have six amps of total power output, which is more than adequate to tow a trailer with a few incandescent light bulbs, probably can run as many LED light bulbs as you want, because they do draw less power.The yellow wire is for our left turn signal and left brake light. more

Today on our 2016 Chrysler Town & Country, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector - part number 118534. Here's what our wiring is going to look like when installed on the vehicle. This wiring harness is going to work very well for all of your applications that are gonna need to connect to a 4-pole harness. It has a power module box which is gonna help give you plenty of power here, but it's also gonna help to separate this system from the vehicle's electrical system. So that way you don't risk the same type of damage you would if you just wired in directly. It also has T-connectors that go into the factory connections at the rear of the taillights, which are gonna make it easier for installation. Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-pole Flat Trailer connector. Part number is 118723. Now, this is going to deliver 4.2 amps per side, for our stop and for our turn signals. For taillights, we have 7.5 amps. This should be plenty to power any standard size trailer lights. This is what our wiring kit is going to look like when we lay it out. This is our main goal here. This is what we're after, to have a working 4-pole trailer connector at the rear of our vehicle. Now, this is going to give us our right turning brake, our left turning brake, running lights and also the ground for our trailer. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Chrysler Town and Country C56150- Video
Today on this 2016 Chrysler Town and Country we're going to review and install Curt T-Connector Vehicle wiring harness with a 4-pull flat trailer connector, part number C56150. All right, this is what our wire harness looks like when it's installed on our van. Of course, there's not much to see right here but here's our 4-pull slat right here with the included cap. Now a good application for this would be any small trailer that has 2 or 4 running lights on the side of the trailer and a couple of tail lights in the back. That would be more than adequate for this type of system that we have on our van here. Now our part here is also good for insulating the wire harness from your trailer to your vehicle to minimize any damage as well. The installation onto a factory wire harness, where needed, does not require any splicing due to it's built in t-connectors. This does require a power ramp and a battery for a 12 volt supply and that's how it get's it's power to run the trailer. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2006 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2006 Chrysler Town and Country we'll be installing the tow-ready T1 vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118300. The tow-ready wiring harness for our Town and Country stores easily out of sight and out of mind when not in use. To gain access to it, we just remove our jack storage cover here and we'll pull out our wiring harness, set it down here next to our latch for our tailgate on our van and we can shut it just like so. It's easily accessible now so we can hook up our trailer and I have this nice included dust cap here. This will work with any trailer that has a 4-pin flat connector. We hook up to our trailer, easily to get to. When we're done, we don't have to worry about having any electrical connections exposed outside of the vehicle which can corrode over time when exposed to the elements. more
